Inventory apps are a solved and boring problem. CellarLume’s real trick is that the rack itself becomes the interface.
Every Pinot. Every French bottle. At once.
One tap lights everything that matches — a grape, a food pairing, a country. Countries wave their flag in LEDs across the rack, which is a ridiculous thing for a wine rack to do, and exactly why it’s there.
The whole cellar, triaged in one glance.
The heat map paints the wall at once: green means drink it now, amber means soon, red means you waited too long, blue means it’s still sleeping. Ten seconds tells you what six spreadsheets wouldn’t.

The light races the rack, slows, and lands on tonight’s bottle. It settles arguments and it’s a very good party trick, in that order.
The rack keeps time for you.
Build a tasting flight and the wall pulses the pouring order. Start the decant timer and the wall fills as the wine breathes — glance over from the kitchen and you know how long is left.
The cellar tells the rest of the house.
Open a bottle and a webhook fires the moment it’s logged. In the reference install that drives a split-flap display running a four-act show: what was opened, where it came from, what to eat with it.
How it works
Three things, then it’s yours.

Wire the rack once
Addressable LEDs run along the rack rails, one per column. A drill guide and stocking map come with the kit so the holes land where they should the first time.
- 02
Plug in the controller
An ESP32-based controller joins your home Wi-Fi and holds the whole catalog itself. It is the only server involved. There is no other server.
- 03
Stock it with your phone
Add wines in the app, or arm a bottle and tap NFC tags along the rack to shelve a case without touching the screen once.
